Dear Mr President

Barrack Hussain Obama; although this letter is addressed to you as President of United States of America, in fact, it is addressed to every Head of State in the world.

Why?

Every Head of the State is ‘Politician’ and he runs ‘Politics’of the state.

Mr President! ‘Politics’ is defined by Muslim Scholar Imam Ghazali:

• ‘Politics’ is to reform public and lead them to the ‘Right Path’that leads to success in this world and the life hereafter.
• ‘Politics’ is the ‘Policy’ that creates respect, love, affection, unity among the people.

Mr President! In this age ‘Politics’ is based upon Democracy which is combination of Government and Opposition.

Mr President! Theoretically, opposition is also part of government because the object and aim of both constituent of Democracy is welfare of the people. The role of Opposition is of critical nature in the sense that when a Bill is proposed by government a discussion takes place then the Opposition highlights the areas which have been overlooked so that Bill is passed without any flaws.

Mr President! But in this age, every political Party wants to be in power and for this reason each party makes effort to downgrade other party to win the support of the people.

Mr President! If we look at the history of progress in the West based on Democracy then we will see that Government and Opposition worked hand in hand i.e. loyal to the people and patriotic when the security of the country is at stake.

Mr President! However, the concept of Democracy has changed where a political party in Opposition does not accept its role as opposition but its efforts are to downgrade the party in power so that they can assume majority to be hindrance in passing Bills.

Mr President! United States of America proclaims to be among civilised nations. The quality of ‘civilised, nation is that it is above the norms of personal interest and always puts the interest of nation and its people at the forefront.

Subject Matter

Mr President!

• The subject matter is Mid – Term elections which are going to be held on 2 November 2010of Senate and Congress.

• Democrats have formed government and Republicansare in Opposition.

• As I understand, Bills are passed by majority of both houses. Depending upon the nature of the Bill, some Bills are passed by simple majority and some Bills are passed by 2/3 majority. (I am not fully aware of law of USA).

• In times of Global Recession, when you assumed office of President of USA, you were inherited two wars, high unemployment, foreclosures, contracting economy and deficit.

Your economic policies were on ‘right’ lines which are adopted at the time of ‘recession’. i.e. borrow money, lower taxes for middle class, bailoutinstitutions which are base of the economy and save jobs.

• In short, with Stimulus package, AIG, financial institution, and Wall Street etc. were bailed out, General Motors was given ‘new entity’ to save jobs. Chrysler was merged with Fiat which also saved jobs.

• The policies took their course and economy started growing, jobs were saved and banks, GM and Chrysler made profits and for the last nines months jobs created are more than jobs lost.

It can be appreciated that when Global Recession hit, the financial institution were making losses. But when they were bailed out, they made Profits. Mr President! The profits of financial institution are based upon of the customers who are businessmen. This depicts the economy is growing because the customers were making profits which lead to profits of financial institutions.

• Similar policies were adopted by other countries to confront ‘recession’ and many countries e.g. France and Germany have overcome recession to a certain extent.

• I am based in England. British government also bailed out financial institutionsand otherwise.

Mr President! Republicans opposed every move of your government. Their opposition was and is, is for the sake of opposition. They have published their manifesto had they been elected:

• No Stimulus or Fin Reg.

• GM and Chrysler Bankrupt

• 2 Conservative on Scouts

• All Bush Tax Cuts extended

• More Iraq Combat, May be Iran

Mr President! The above agenda is completely opposite of the policies which should have been adopted at the time of recession. Mr President! With the Grace of Allah, I have made analysis of the outcome of above policies in the letter titled: No 6 Natural Economic Forces.

Mr President! As they always opposed Healthcare Reform Bill, so it can be assumed that it was not on their agenda to reform Healthcare. Now, even though the Healthcare Reform Bill has passed but Republicans want to repealit.

Mr President! When you will read the letters attached, you will gather that project: Call for Peace warranted to follow the ‘Politics’ of USA and bring facts before the world that Republicans have exploited the slow outcome of your economic policies and manipulated hearts and minds of American people to win their support which is apparent through polls that they are likely to control both houses after mid – term elections.

Mr President! This package is an effort to win back the support of not only Democrats who have been exploited but also win the supporters of Republicans and Tea Partyvoters.

Mr President! The object of project: Call for Peace is to deal with the mentality of the people. Peace and Harmony is product of ‘Moral’ values. No doubt, constitutions are based on ‘Moral’ values but in practice those are not adhered to in practical life and this is why there is unrest in the whole world.
