Attorney General Jeff Sessions and FBI Director Christopher Wray hold a press conference about the arrest of suspect Cesar Sayoc, who currently faces five charges in relation to bombs that were sent to prominent critics of President Trump.

The Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court John Roberts has now referred Brett Kavanaugh for investigation. This news comes after the story broke that Roberts had been sitting on complaints forwarded to him by the lower court for several weeks, refusing to act on them. If these investigations are thorough enough, we may not have to wait for Democrats to regain control of Congress to get Kavanaugh off the bench. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.

Just because Brett Kavanaugh is now sitting on the US Supreme Court, he passed his Senate confirmation that does not actually mean that the guy is out of the woods yet.

In fact on Wednesday of this week Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts (Inaudible) more than a dozen complaints of Judicial Misconduct against Kavanaugh to Colorado Court of Appeals for them to investigate.

Now the reason Robert did this was because he has been sitting on these complaints from the D C Circuit where Kavanaugh was previously sitting. He (John Roberts) has been sitting on these for weeks.

Judge K Henderson who was appointee of H W Bush senior sitting on the bench he compiled this list of Judicial Misconduct complaints against Brett Kavanaugh and send them to John Roberts who said: Hey! Here is something that needs to be investigated about this guy. But we can’t do it obviously because he sits on this bench (Inaudible) little too close to him.

So we need you figure out who can investigate these complaints and go from there.

Roberts did nothing. He did not make these Judicial Misconduct complaints public. He just sat on it until this week when the story broke that he actually had them.

Now most of these complaints are actually related to things the Kavanaugh said during his Senate Testimony which means the court where he was sitting sworn his testimony realised that the was making statements that were most likely false and they believe that should probably be something they should look into because Perjury is actually a pretty big deal.

Now we know based on these complaints, based on the facts checkers who looked into speech there were no more than nine false statements given by Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate testimony.

We have to remember Perjury is Perjury. It does not matter if he is lying about something small or like:

I never had beer in my life or something… I did not kill that guy. No! Not at all.

Perjury is Perjury. No matter how big or small the lie actually is. So some of the things Kavanaugh lied about obviously kind of minor, most of them having to do with his drinking. But there are also some pretty serious lies:

like the one not having any idea or any involvement in stalling email Scandal from Democratic Senators in 2004. He was directly involved in that. His name is in the email. He knows what he was getting. He knew they were stolen and he lied to the Senate about it.

John Roberts did the right thing but only did right thing because the public pressure on him was growing too great. So let us hope this Colorado Court out there that is going to be investigating there. Let us hope they conduct thorough and quick investigation so that we can get Kavanaugh off this court before he is ever able to issue his first real opinion on the Supreme Court.

Honourable Chief Justice! In short, project: Call for Peace has been designed to critically analyse the current affairs of the world under the light of Qur’an and Hadith.

Honourable Chief Justice! As mentioned in the beginning: Justice is an element which is Core of Peace and Harmony in the world, therefore Supreme Court of every country in the world is under obligation to determine Judgment ‘independently’. So the Chief Justice along with Associate Justices must be free from any shortcomings where their honesty and integrity can be challenged.

Honourable Chief Justice! Alhamdu’lillah! The Special Hearing by the Senate Judiciary Committee has been critically analysed and rationally proved that, with due respect, it was Judge Brett Kavanaugh who had Sexually assaulted Dr Christine Blasey Ford and not someone else as Judge Brett Kavanaugh expressed in his testimony:

Second, let’s turn to specifics.

I categorically and unequivocally deny the allegation against me by Dr. Ford.

I never had any sexual or physical encounter of any kind with Dr. Ford.

I never attended a gathering like the one Dr. Ford describes in her allegation.

I’ve never sexually assaulted Dr. Ford or anyone.

Again, I am not questioning that Dr. Ford may have been sexually assaulted by some person in some place at some time. But I have never done that to her or to anyone.

Chief Justice John Roberts on Tuesday stressed the need for the judicial branch to remain independent, taking note of the tumultuous debate over the confirmation of Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Before I sit down with Professor (Inaudible) for the main event I thought I will spend a moment or two touching upon the contentious events in Washington of recent weeks.

I will not criticise the political branches. I have great respect for our public officials. After all they speak for the people and that demands certain degree of humility for those of us in the judicial branch.

We do not speak for the people but we speak for the Constitution. Our role is very clear (Inaudible) Constitution and laws of the United States and ensure that the political branches act within them that job obviously require ‘Independence’ from the political branches.

Honourable Chief Justice! In Your Honour’s speech as below Your Honour emphasise the ‘Independence’ of the Judiciary:

we do not serve one party or one interest.

We serve one nation

Chief Justice John Roberts: “We do not speak for the people. We speak for the Constitution. Our role is very clear. We are to interpret the Constitution and laws of the United States and ensure the political branches act within them. That job obviously requires independence from the political branches.” He also says, “It’s a small thing perhaps but it is a repeated reminder that as our newest colleague put it we do not sit on opposite sides of an aisle, we do not caucus in separate rooms, we do not serve one party or one interest. We serve one nation. And I want to assure all of you we will continue to do that to the best of our abilities whether times are calm or contentious.”

The story of the Supreme Court would be very different without that sort of Independence. Without Independence there is no Brown Vs Board of Education. Without independence there is no West Virginia Vs (Inaudible) the court held that the government cannot compel School children to salute the flag.

And without independence there is no Cesar Sayoc case. Case where the court held that the President Truman was subject
to the Constitution even in times of war.

He also says, “It’s a small thing perhaps but it is a repeated reminder that as our newest colleague put it we do not sit on opposite sides of an aisle, we do not caucus in separate rooms, we do not serve one party or one interest.
