Brothers and Sisters! The GOP has the same type of agenda should they assume office of the President of USA. Mitt Romney believes in Peace with aggression. For this reason he is propagating that President Obama is weak not to take aggressive approach towards Iran i.e. attack Iran.

 

Brothers and Sisters! President Obama is like a statesman . He understands that if USA makes intention to attack Iran then he will not be able to do so because:

• The adjoining countries Pakistan, India, china and Russia are nuclear powers and they will not allow USA to attack Iran because they will lose their sovereignty and it will be start of third world war which will lead to destruction as every country will use its nuclear ammunition. Moreover, Iran itself is strong military power which he exposed by launching missiles couple of years ago.

 

• The cost of war will have to be funded by ‘printing’ money and the economies of the world will never recover.

Brothers and Sisters! The economic plan Mitt Romney is presenting will not work. He wants to extend the tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires where they can increase production of goods and shall be able to capture the world market.

Brothers and Sisters! Goods and services are only bought when people have money at their disposal. Due to higher cost of living people are hand to mouth. How they will be able to buy increased production. The economies of the other countries are also affected by global recession so there will be no exports and if exported then how the other countries can pay. The recent examples are Spain and Greece whose economies have to be bailed out by European Community .

 

Brothers and Sisters! Mitt Romney is a businessman and a salesman. He can even sell refrigerators to Eskimos. This is why he is changing his course, contradicts his own statements and still gets away with it. For example: he has been able to recover the loss which was caused by his statement:

And I mean the president starts off with 48, 49… he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty seven per cent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn’t connect (inaudible)

 

(Inaudible) that’s what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people.

Brothers and Sisters! Plausible talk can win the hearts and minds of the people but the status quo does not listen to plausible talk and it has to take its natural course.

 

CONCLUSION

Brothers and Sisters! The conclusion boils down to is that the economy of USA is on the right course where:

• unemployment has gone down from 10 per cent to 8 per cent

• giant businesses and financial institution have been saved from going bankrupt and they are making profits and exports have increased

• foreclosures rate is down

• to a certain extent the image of USA has been repaired which was damaged by Bush administration

• healthcare bill has been passed and gradually the cost curve will bend

• middle class is recovering

Brothers and Sisters! Should Mitt Romney will assume office of the President of USA then all the progress in the economy will go down the drain and it will not start to grow again.

Brothers and Sisters! To appreciate the outcome of President Obama and his team policies is that when Bush administration left office the temperature was negative, and since then the temperature is plus though it is still cold.

 

Brothers and Sisters! The ball  is in your court . If you want to be on the road to progress, then vote for Barrack Hussain Obama .

 

Brothers and Sisters! The object of Call for Peace is not that Barrack Hussain Obama should be re – elected as President of USA. The object is that the economic policies of the Democrats are on the right lines and road to economic recovery.
